Cole Bennett Has Set The Standard For Hip-Hop Album Rollouts

Cole Bennett is known by many hip-hop fans for his colorful and eccentric hip-hop videos. The founder of Lyrical Lemonade is responsible for turning many small local talents into superstars, Juice Wrld, Jack Harlow, Lil Skies and Ski Mask The Slump God are all artists who were relatively small before working with Cole and following their music videos with Lyrical Lemonade their music careers began to skyrocket.

Cole Bennett grew up in a small town of Plano Illinois, Cole began infatuated with rap after his sister showed him 50 cent and quickly bought his first rap album “Get Rich or Die Tryin” Cole has said “I would sleep and wake up and it would be playing the whole night” Cole felt connected to the rap genre more so than the country music that was played throughout Plano. In his freshman year of high school, Cole was introduced to the blossoming music scene in Chicago featuring rappers like Chief Keef, Vic Mensa, and Chance the Rapper. Cole watched from a far for a while before deciding “I need to go experience this.” Cole would travel to Chicago 2-3 times a week to see as many shows as he possibly could. At all of these shows Cole would bring his camera to capture the moment and as this continued his love for hip-hop continued to grow as well. Cole then saved up for his first camera and shot as much he possibly could, He realized at this time that blogs were the most relevant way for people to find out about new music and Cole knew from that point that he needed to start one of his own.

This is where Lyrical Lemonade was born, As the years went by Cole began to see more and more success and he was the one who highlighted many of the most talented artists coming into the hip-hop scene. This success has continued to this day and Cole not only works with new up-and-comers but has had the chance to work with massive artists in the music industry like Blink 182, Justin Bieber, Post Malone, and many others.

With his most recent passion project, he has shown the labels and artists how an album rollout should go. On January 25th, 2024 Lyrical Lemonade released “All Is Yellow” it featured many of the artists that Cole Bennett turned into superstars like Jack Harlow and Juice Wrld while also featuring some of his idols as a young man like Chief Keef. During the album release, Lyrical Lemonade also released music videos for every song featuring all of the rappers sporting all-black suits with a yellow ties.
